3. Bird Bash - Saturday, March 23 at 3p Save the date!

Bird Bash Auction & Community Event

for parents & guardians

3-6pm

Saturday March 23, 2024

@ Sports Basement Stonestown

Take time out of your Saturday routine to appreciate the amazing Lowell community. Mingle with new and old friends; sample local food, wine, and entertainment; and bid on an array of tantalizing auction items. What happens at the Bird Bash stays at the Bird Bash, except your auction winnings are yours to keep. But first…

Here’s how you can help us make this a great event:

Donate:

  • Have tix to any sports, arts, or other cultural experience?  We’d love a pair!
  • Own a vacation rental in Tahoe, Wine Country, or Hawaii? Donate a stay!
  • Member of the Olympic Club? Offer a round of golf!
  • Have a contact at a resort, hotel, or winery? Send us your lead!
  • Own or work at a restaurant? Send us a gift card!
  • Work at an iconic company in the Bay Area? Donate an insider tour.

Volunteer:

  • Want to help out with the Bird Bash on 3/23/24? We need volunteers!

The more you contribute to the Bird Bash, the more Lowell-tastic it will be. When Lowell succeeds, our students succeed, and our community thrives.

To contribute goods, services, or your time to our event, reply to this post or use our donation form.

4. A senior at Lowell is looking for a family to take on an exchange student.  She is looking to spend an educational gap year abroad through the Rotary Club before starting college.

The Rotary program is by definition an exchange, meaning a student from the country she travels to comes to SF to live with a host family. Unfortunately, at this time her family is not able to take on this responsibility.

Because of this, she is looking for a family that is excited to welcome an exchange student into their home. Her family is able to help organize the exchange and cover any financial burden not covered by the Rotary Club.

If interested, please contact her, Dahlia Myers, at dahliamyers@gmail.com and her mom, Kara Myers, at karapartera@yahoo.com before mid-March.

Thanks. Nicole
