Happy First Week of School from the Lowell PTSA!

A warm welcome to our new PTSA members, and a big thank you for your support. We've grown to over 360 members, and we encourage students to join as well!

  • 275 parents/guardians

  • 64 students

  • 22 teachers

  • 16 alums/supporters

What does the PTSA do? We're dedicated to supporting the school community by providing volunteers and fundraising to enhance life at Lowell. Our funding supports student government-led activities (like Homecoming, Winter Ball, and Prom), student clubs, athletics, the College Center, our Wellness Center, and much more.

We invite you to help us kick off our fundraising efforts by donating today. You can set up a monthly payment, and many companies will even offer donation matching. Our fundraising goal of over $300,000 this year is higher than in previous years because we are funding staffing hours to keep the library open beyond the hours our staff librarian is available (in past years we’ve had an additional librarian, a role that was cut by SFUSD this year). Please give generously!

We will be sending a monthly email to recap our activities and to remind you of our General Meetings (and if this was forwarded to you, please help us meet our membership and budget goals by clicking here to become a member, which will ensure that you receive future newsletters).
