Supporting Community Engagement & Student Success

Lowell PTSA President's Message

Dear Lowell Community,

As we make our way through this first month of 2021, it feels as though we continue to carry the heaviness of the last year with us.  This week the U.S. surpassed 400,000 lives lost to COVID related deaths, so many are experiencing food and financial insecurity, and on January 6th rioters brought violent white supremacy, destruction, and an attack on democracy to our US Capitol's hallowed halls.  Even so, today there is cause to celebrate and feel hope with the Inauguration of President Biden & Vice President Harris and as the COVID-19 vaccine continues to reach more people.

While I still feel a lot of the heaviness from 2020, I also feel a renewed sense of hope and purpose.  Through the Lowell PTSA I have had the great opportunity to work with our amazing students and parents and I continue to be inspired by our teachers and administration for their commitment to our students’ education and well-being.  I am also incredibly humbled by the generosity of spirit in our community.  Thank you to everyone who made generous gifts, volunteered your time & expertise, and attended our meetings!!

I am excited to share that the LPTSA had an informative General Membership Meeting last week and you can find a recap and other LPTSA updates below.  Also, we are coordinating our Diversity, Inclusion, and School Climate programs with the Lowell Administration and student groups.  Please join us at future meetings & events.

On behalf of the 2020-2021 Lowell High School PTSA Board, we look forward to continuing to Support Community Engagement & Student Success with you!

In Community,

Tiffany M. Abuan

LPTSA Grants

The Grants Program, a cornerstone of the Lowell PTSA, provides valuable support to the Lowell Community.  We are pleased to announce the PTSA Spring Grant season is open! Please fill out the grant application by February 5th, 2021.

You Can Make a Difference - Donate to the PTSA’s Lowell Fund!

Thank you to all who have already supported the Lowell PTSA. Please consider making a donation to the Lowell Fund. Every year, the PTSA awards grant money towards enrichment opportunities for our students. PTSA also underwrites educational and wellness workshops as well as college readiness programming.   Please remember to ask your employer if they provide corporate matching gift. This can significantly multiply the amount of your donation. Thank you for your continued support!
